Game On – Safer, Kinder Games Industry Events
Practical Safety. Shared Responsibility. Free for Everyone
A free, people-first initiative to help studios and organisers design events where everyone feels safe, respected, and supported.
Why Game On Exists
Game On was created because I’ve seen the harm that happens when safety is treated as an afterthought—and the power of what changes when it’s built in from the start.
This isn’t a policy download. It’s a shared commitment to doing better for the people who show up, speak up, and represent our industry in public spaces.
Whether you’re hosting, attending, or sending a team, Game On is here to help you plan proactively and support confidently. No jargon. No gatekeeping. Just guidance you can actually use.

Why This Matters
Events are where careers are made, deals are signed, and communities come to life. But they only work if everyone feels like they belong there—without fear of harassment, exclusion, or harm. Game On helps you build that kind of environment - clearly, confidently, and without reinventing the wheel.
Built With Experience
Game On launched at nDreams, and has since been used by Guildford Games Festival, Nordic Game, and multiple studio events. Now, hosted independently by Wise Cat, it’s available for the whole industry to use, adapt, and grow together.
Use Game On
All resources are free to access and share. No email required.

With thanks to the contributors
Game On was shaped by the voices and experiences of many generous people across the games industry—those who shared insights, reviewed drafts, and helped us make it better.
Special thanks to the teams at nDreams, Limit Break Mentorship, Out Making Games, UN Women UK, Women in Games, Guildford Games Festival, Nordic Game, and the individuals who offered feedback, advice, and encouragement along the way. This is a living project. If you’d like to be involved or contribute, we’d love to hear from you.
